It sure would be nice if everyone could purchase midget engines for 5k. I think tire prices hurt a lot of people. USAC National, USAC D1, and STARS are all on the same tire now, which is a $180 RR. USSA is running a different tire than them, which is a $140 RR tire. Not too big of a price difference, but it's a difference! The so called "National" tire is not going to last any longer than the "Regional" tire that USSA is using in my opinion. I mean, if you want to be fast then your going to need to buy new tires on a nightly basis. Just my opinion though..
