I'd agree Apex, Frank had the run of things when he was in the 46 car with Larry's resources. Frank, Bill and their Dad ran their own team early in Franks career without much success. There was the R&D Cup developmental programs that ran Daytona, Pocono and Talladega among others back in Frank's heyday but not to the extent they do now. Frank won a couple of the Illinois dirt races since they've been fielding their own cars but this race today is pretty big deal running good against the money boys.

In regards to the Dillon's dirt experience I'v been told by guys who have run the mods and late models and then gave the Cup Style stockers a try on the dirt that it is a whole different world and very little of the experience translates from the mods and dirt lates to the Cup style cars. I really don't hate on these kids with the high financed teams in fact I loved it when Parker Kliggerman swept the ARCA dirt races a couple of years ago in a Penske developmental ARCA program but I still like it when these kids run the full schedule, it's good for ARCA and it's good for the sport.

I really didn't know about the George kid and I would have to agree with you about him tearing up equipment but to his credit he did come to Springfield and Du Quoin and that gains him a notch or two in my book.
