Wish Frank could have closed the deal. I thought he had it in the bag coming off of turn 4 but Childress' grandkid had some momentum. Frank can take solace in the fact he and his brother Bill are workin' with a part time pit crew and probably 1 tenth the racing budget resources that Childress has at his disposal and the kid still just barely beat them. I hope the kid shows up at the Illinois dirt tracks in August and September where the big money and high priced crew members doesn't mean quite as much and see how good the kid really is.

I don't know about Ty but his brother raced (and may still) dirt late models including the Dream and the World 100 and all of them have been running short tracks for as long as possible to gain experience and skills and they all work on their race cars as part of the deal... might have money behind them but they work at it and have started towards the bottom......
wish Frank had won but great to see him upfront and can't wait untill short track ARCA.....
