When Belleville was a three night show, with good car counts, it was an event. When they cut it to two nights, it became event "lite." And now, USAC, in all its infinite wisdom, has scheduled a national sprint show at Eagle Raceway on the Friday night of Belleville. So where will the top USAC teams be? Without the USAC entries, I'm afraid that Belleville can no longer be called an event lite, much less an event.
