I was doing some searching for Gene Henson info tonight and I came across a photo of the red #1 Twinburger Special you are talking about at

Anyone else here remember an announcer who would warn "women and children" to move far from the fences when Jim Bob Luebbert went out to qualify? I know Jim Bob does -- he told me that himself in a store on 16th street quite a few years back !!

Jim Bob is still in that store, or at least he was still there in October. I stopped in to chat and have him autograph a couple of photos for me. It's called Speedway Embroidery and it is directly across from the 16th Street tunnel entrance to the Speedway. He is having some issues with the city of Speedway, they are trying to take his property away for some kind of new development. The city wants to pay him a fraction of what the property is really worth. But I'm pretty sure he is still there.
