I know this is a waste of breath and effort but here goes anyway.
Racing is an expensive sport but, the local tracks need to make some COMMON SENSE rules and stick with them for the local racers. If a team wants to run USAC or a a national tour series let them spend the $$$ it takes BUT...
Local tracks like LPS needs some common sense rules concerning tires and shocks that will let a local team race. Indiana has some great tracks with lot's of local racers who aren't out to get rich but to have fun. Remember that's what it was all about when it started years ago. Rules on compounds on tires (and not brand) need to be enforced, local racers don't need $500 shocks on each corner of the car and the rest will take care of itself. Help preserve Indiana sprint car racing...make some changes that will save the racers $$$. Costs like insurance, fuel for equipment and help at the track can't be controlled as easy as some common sense car rules.
