If memory serves me correctly I think Danny Smith was in the Gambler "house" car and won at Eldora in 1981 or 82. I remember this race being in April on a Sunday afternoon the day after Dave Peperak won the Wide World of Sports televised USAC sprint car race. I think the Champ car race was a 60 lap race.
