They're more shooting for the Focus or Ecotec racer. Same car, different motor. The other cool thing about the EST is that it uses about 1/3 less fuel (!!!) and it runs WAY cleaner oil-wise. It should be a way lower maintenance engine...at least that's how it looks so far.
