I always made it a point to ask Red Hat in the parking lot at Little Belleville how the ol' boy was doing. (Wally Jr. also....:2
Barney had a good long life and brought many smiles to hundreds of race fans at race tracks all over the midwest; many, many times myself included.
Trust me, there's nothing like a big ol' slobbery smooch from a good ol' handsome Basset Hound.
