You people are dreaming of snowballs in July if you think there's going to be a change in the tire deal. The only teams that profit from the point fund, padded with tire deal money, are the zillionaire teams that can afford to travel all over the country. If ur not one of those elite teams, forget about seeing any tire deal point fund money.

I really love it when the sanctioning body justifies it's new tire deal by telling us that THE tire company is DONATING x-amount of OUR MONEY to the points fund and then turns around and pays said points fund money to the TOP TEN in points. Very few can chase the whole schedule, so those that can least afford to race get none of the so called benefits of said points fund.
