Take off from Friday, September 17th through the 27th.
We leave Fort Worth on the 19th, the day after Texas Motor Speedway has the $3000 to win/$750 to start US Dirt Track Nationals and head north to Iowa. The Nationals cost $100 to enter if you do it TODAY (Fri 9/3) or $140 at the gate on Friday the 17th. It's a 2-day race. All cars run a B main on Saturday and if you do that, you get at least $75 back.
We need to be in Oskaloosa on Monday afternoon. It's a USMTS Hunt race that pays $3000 to win and a minimum of $250 to start on a maximum entry fee of $100 at the gate. All cars get a minimum of $75 back.
The next night in Allison, we do it again! $3000 to win and a minimum of $250 to start. Same deal on entry fee, tow money, etc....
Wednesday it's on to Deer Creek Speedway in southeast Minnesota for Jamboree practice night.
On Thursday through Saturday, it is THE BIG SHOW! The Jamboree!!! Combined minimum of $12,000 to win and $1700 just to start all 3 30-car A-mains! Enter by Sunday 9/5 for $200 and be guaranteed at least $350 back if you race all 3 nights!
Sunday we can travel home.
So what is that? $21,000 to win over 9 days??? About $500-600 on entry fees depending on when you enter and $575 as a minimum back??? Of course there is the fuel, food, pit passes, tires, what-ever-you-break, etc., etc. but don't sweat the small stuff, lol! At least the entry fees are a wash!
Now, all we need is some of the good late September midwest weather (and maybe a little indian summer up there in gopher land, lol!). If you're the type that would rather burn that last vacation up on some great Modified racing instead of stalking Bambi, then this week's for you!!!

Probably easier for you Indiana mods to join us in Iowa on the 20th!
