I can't believe it but I somewhat agree with Mr. Moore. I think track operators should let the driver in with the car without charging a pit pass. The owner does not however have any right to a free ride as they add no value to the event - they don't put on the show. What constitutes ownership anyway? If I purchase a t-shirt am I a fractional owner? How about if I buy a shock or tire for the team? I could see several persons claiming ownership and wanting a free pit pass. I guess we could make the owner show the title to the car and only the name on the title would get the pit pass

I also think that much like the Pro Hooters golf tour, and NASCAR (which both have hefty entry fees) that only the A-main cars get any monies. The rest need to go back to work on their game if you will and get good enough to get paid for what they enjoy doing or consider it a hobby - like boating (very expensive, seasonal with no ROI)...
