I was at the "Stroh's Challenge" in 1982. I think Danny Smith won one of the challenge races, and Larry Dickson won the hundred lapper in the Champ cars. Danny was driving the Kenny Rogers car. Sunday night at Springfield Speedway was pretty good too with some great drivers sticking around.

I think if the dirt miles had a usable pit area, there might be a chance of getting a nationwide race. I think it would have some of the best TV ratings of the year.
