Does anybody remember "the Dream Event" that was held at the Springfield Mile about 1982. The race run in silver crown cars contested the USAC drivers and the World Of Outlaw drivers together for a race.

I think there was also some special challenge races as well, as some WOO Sprint Car races.

The Springfield fair Silver Crown race has always been a favorite of mine. It is a great event to make a family outing out of. If you have never attended I very highly recommend it.
