I'm in a McDonalds in Cortland, NY right now listening to some guy complain about how when he was eating his dinner here yesterday they messed up his kids happy meal toy. Then he proceeded to say "eat your hamburger" to one of his brats over and over again.
I'm just killing time on my way to Five Mile Point Speedway, which has a "Three Mile Island" kind of ring to it. I just "shot" the Outlaws last night in Fulton, NY which was a great track. I thought some of the Indiana photographers were mean til I got here... This is my sixth day of racing, I'm headed home after this. Western NY state drivers, are much better then MI, not that that says much....
I missed out on the "salt potatoes" at Fulton last night. Tony Stewart and Dave Blaney raced, finishing 20th and 23rd respectively. Steve Kinser won it. It poured right after the anthem's were done. Only track I've been to where the pack trucks have sleeper cabs. Turns 3&4 are down below 1&2, and going down the backstretch there is a quite a drop.
No one has said anything good about Oswego since I've been here, which is sad. Apparently the lights weren't functioning during last weekends super modified race.
