If you have a newer flat screen tv, all you need is a regular monitor cable with both end like this.

And there should be a connection in the back of your tv for it. Then you will need a 1/8 mini jack male/male cable for the sound (or if you want to hook it up to a home theatre, mini jack to RCA). And on your tv remote should be a button called RGB or you can hit the input button until you see RGB(technically Red, Green, Blue).
If you have a different connector, it might be DVI and you will need a DVI cable (either RGB to DVI if you video card doesn't have DVI out).
