The Sedalia mile was eliminated a few years ago. If you go to Microsoft virtual earth you can see the race track area from the air. The outline of the mile is still there but that's it. There's a new building where the fourth turn used to be, so I don't think the mile is coming back anytime soon.

Also the Minnisota State Fair paved half mile is mostly still there last time I looked, again checking it on Microsoft VE. Looks like it would take some work to bring that track back to what it was.

The Sacramento Mile promoter died several years ago and that was the end of that race deal. That track is still there. There is also the Fresno CA Fair mile which is a nice track but the grandstand comes very close to the track near the first turn. there are also one or two more mile tracks in CA but I can't put on finger on their names at the moment.

There is also a mile dirt track facility north of Phoenix where the AMA bikes have recently raced. That looks like a very nice track also.

The Ohio State Fair half mile track was bulldozed many years ago and replaced with an indoor multi-purpose building thanks to Gov. Celeste. There were some great 100 lap USAC midget races there on Labor Day during the 60's.

The beautiful Del Mar Fairgrounds mile near San Deigo now has a special race surface designed for horse racing, so that track won't be holding anymore races in the near future.

The San Jose mile and huge grandstand were bulldozed also. Now it's just vacant land and a lot of pissed people that everything was demolished with no future purpose in mind.

I'm also hearing that there's virtually nothing left of the paved auto/horse track mile Chicago Speedway just north of Midway Airport.
