Mike, you are right the supers do not qualify or time trial as we would call it at most of there races. I'm sure you know in my book the supers are the fastest cars even if AVSS beats them at one track.
Russ Wood is a great ambassador of the sport, glad you had a chance to meet him.

My memory is a bit foggy, the last time the supers were at Winchester Bentley crashed the car I believe it was in practice before the 13.99 qualifying lap and not in the heat race. The car was heavily damaged, Ben, myself and another girl from Oswego had to make the long trek thru the tunnel out to the parking lot to the hauler to get parts while Brian and crew started repairing the lightning fast car. Saw Linda Holldermen a few weeks ago, I am sure if she still owned Winchester she would have found a way to get the supers back there to race and we wouldn't have to imagine what times they would be turning now.
