Any word on who is going to be at Haubstadt going for the $5k? This will be the last race at TSS for a month but I'm sure we can find something to in August. Below is the story I found on the internet.

"AHEAD TO THE HOOSIER SPRINT NATIONALS
Posted July 17, 201017Jul
(Haubstadt, IN - July 17, 2010) The next event on the 2010 MSCS schedule is one that race fans look forward to each season as weeks of sprint car action grind up the initial dates. The Hoosier Tire Midwest Sprint Car Series is set to re-fire in sanctioning the Hoosier Sprint Nationals on Saturday July 31st at Tri-State Speedway. Drivers will have had three weekends free to pursue other interests and racing opportunities. MSCS last raced on July 3rd. Now the biggest race so far this season is in the offering.

The Hoosier Sprint Nationals continues in its role as the longest ongoing event on the MSCS schedule. The format and purse for this event have undergone some adjustments and modifications since the inaugural Hoosier Sprint Nationals appeared on the schedule in 2005. The 2010 version will pay five thousand dollars to the winner. The distance for the twenty starters plus one MSCS provisional is 40 laps.

As the season continues MSCS drivers will be running for a $5,000 top prize twice and then for an even richer $10,000 top prize twice. This event is the first of those four races that comprise a high dollar circuit within the overall season tour that begins at Tri-State Speedway in July, leads to Bloomington Speedway and then back to Haubstadt in September, and then concludes at Lawrenceburg Speedway with the Lawrenceburg Nationals in October.

Adult tickets for the Hoosier Sprint Nationals on July 31st are priced at $20. Student tickets are listed at $15 and children 12 and under will be admitted free. Reserved seats, at an additional $3 in cost each, can be obtained by calling the speedway at 812-768-6025.

Travelers please note that Tri-State Speedway is located at Haubstadt three miles north of I-64 on U.S. 41 between Evansville and Princeton, Indiana. Camping space is available along the back of the track property just beyond the stands and across from and with a close view of the pit area. A number of motels are located in the vicinity of the Interstate 64 and U.S. Highway 41 interchange.

Brady Short is the Defending Champion for the Hoosier Sprint Nationals. The victory actually came back in 2008. The event was rained out in 2009 thus extending Short’s reign to a period of 2 seasons. The Bedford, IN, driver also has two victories to his credit in Hoosier Tire MSCS competition this season including one as recent as May 30th at Tri-State Speedway, the very track promoting and hosting this special MSCS sanctioned event. Another Hoosier Sprint Nationals title will be on the line!
