All of the companies are a little diifferent in terms of what their numbers represent or how they dyno their shocks.

One of the reasons that the smaller shock rebuilders/companies were started is because of the quality control problems the bigger companies like Carrea and Pro had. As shocks have evolved; they have become the biggest tuning device on the car.
