Yes I'm a LPS Homer. And proud of it !
It's a great track with a long history of sprint car racing.
LPS has had how many different owners?
Look at what Joe Spiker & Crew have done in 1 year of ownership.
Started by fixing the shitters first and over the year they have fixed a few other things at LPS.
If you have ever met or seen Joe & his wife standing in the stands talking with people.
You would see the they want to make LPS Special again. Bring USAC back to LPS for the 39th time with sprints is a big deal to them.
Spiker & Crew are fans and listen and read the media.
SO expect to see a great show Saturday at LPS and if your a Sprint car fan hopefully you get out at your expected finsh time and have seen a exciting night of racing.

The only sprint race that might make you a little late will be the Gotta Race/Amsoil 'King of the Hill' race. $1025 winner take all in 15 laps

Top 10 in USAC Sprintweek points + Dickie Gaines 4 time winner at LPS in 2010. Shane Hollingsworth 2 time winner in 2010

12 cars 15 laps Winner take all!

FINAL “INDIANA SPRINT WEEK” STANDINGS: 1-Stanbrough-384; 2-Jones-349; 3-Clauson-327; 4-Darland-319; 5-Windom-309; 6-Short-309; 7-Fitzpatrick-276; 8-Gardner-269; 9-Coons-263; 10-Schuerenberg-243.
This is an Invitational, not required, drivers can refuse to not run.

King of the Hill race will run after Modified or Focus main that follows USAC sprint feature.
Fans will vote with cash for their favorite driver on the hill.
Most money starts on the Pole, this money will go to 2nd & 3rd

I believe that you will see a hell of a race no matter what time you leave and will enjoy the night. But we will see.

Spiker & Crew will be trying their best to make this USAC race as a special event that it is. The night Before the Brickyard 40

Maybe Stewart or other brickyard people will be checking it out.

Hope to see you there I will be hanging in the turn 1 tower shooting.
Anyway that's what I have seen over the year.
