1st off laundry's not my thing, neither is cooking so heres' what I got. Do not wash flex suits in a regular machine. Turn inside out and use Luke warm water then let drip dry, if it’s a batted suit use towel on the inside use a safety pin hook to loop fasteners to prevent any damage. DO NOT USE CHLORINE BLEACH. Proban suits may be no good after wash them check with manufacturer to be sure. You can wash other suits in cool water and let hang dry as the dryers heat can damage it don’t know about dry cleaning. Washing your suit at home do not hang it out in direct sunlight it can be damage the suit. My drivers wife always washed his suits in the washer, check w/ manufacturer of your suit for recommendations. Some of this info is old, I've gone through 25 yrs of magazines, listened to what drivers & Manufacturer Reps told me. So this is what I have, hope it helps. Disagree anybody let me know. I have been a race official & safety was always my main objective. Even got after a few drivers for lack of equipment.
