Don't read this the wrong way, because I like Skyline Chili, and I certainly plan to make a stop or two this trip, but what they serve hardly chili. It IS a Greek meat sauce, and a very good one. Oh, yeah, the chili over spaghetti does strike me as being odd. They do the same over at Steak and Shake, too. But their chili is closer to what one would expect.
Another response mentioned Whisky's in LBurg. I have eaten there, and it is okay. Of course it is hard to judge a joint based on one meal. Just east of the track on 50 is a joint called Buffalo's Southwest Cafe. It, too is a chain, but not bad.
