I hate to see a race canceled. I do appreciate a promoter making the agonizing decision early so that teams do not make long hauls for nothing.

We were heading to Lincoln for Illinois Sprint week and made it as far as Litchfield when the event was canceled. The gully washer that quickly overtook us was quite spectacular.
