Just back from the track and all is looking good despite a .7" shower that passed through here about 7:a.m. or so. Talked to the boss (Dave......well, the boss after Kim that is
) and he says conditions are much better now than they were last week at this time. If you recall last week, the track was super fast after a half hour delay due to a 4:00 p.m. shower. Only an intense thunder and lightning display (not that much rain) shut 'er down for safety sake. Good call, IMO.
Bottom line, I'd say we're good to go tonight barring later downpours.
