Hmmmm.... I normally would not get involved in this but after this ****** day... I've had enough!
Your DirtyWhiteBoy account is in moderated status, it has been this way since late December 2009.... what this means is that all of your posts must be approved by myself or a moderator. The reason this was done is because I felt to many of your posts were intentionally unpleasant or disruptive to this site. As the owner of IOW, I have that right.
A couple days after I made this decision back in December you messaged me telling me you were done coming to IOW... then just a few days after receiving your message on January 2, 2010, an account was registered using the username "outsider", this account was registered using the same ip address as your Dirtywhiteboy account. This is fact!
During the registration of outsiders account, dirtywhiteboy was listed as the referrering member. This is fact!
Since January 2, 2010, outsider made posts from 21 different IP addresses.... 19 of those IP addresses show posts from both dirtywhiteboy's account and outsider's account. Many of the posts were intentionally unpleasant or disruptive to this site, and during that same time we never saw one single post from dirtywhiteboy.
On May 30, 2010... I had finally seen enough of outsider's posts that were again what I observed to be intentionally unpleasant or disruptive to this site... On that day I banned outsider for those actions. Shortly after banning him I received message after message from outsider telling me that I was running this site like communist ****** or ***** and that I had no right to ban him from this site. I am the owner of IOW... I do whatever I feel is in the best interest of this site, it's members, it's guests and future members.
And now on to June 3, 2010... just 4 days after outsider has been banned, dirtywhiteboy reappears after 6 months of being gone wanting to know why his posts are being moderated. Now am I the only one here that find this just a bit ironic.
This is just a tiny bit of information about why I think outsider and dirtywhiteboy are the same person and I haven't even mentioned the multiple registrant report or the multiple login report. These reports are automated and built in to my administrative side of IOW... they are very accurate. Members here that are husband and wife appear on this report almost daily. This is something I don't pay very close attention too... mainly because I have more important things to do with my time.
Now, since I've been accused of publicly and privately flaming(as he put it in his most recent email to me), I will let all of you be the judge of how I handled this situation along with making your own decision about whether or not these usernames are the same person. I've made up my mind. He is free to post but they will have to be approved by myself or another moderator. Once he shows he can post respectfully without being intentionally unpleasant or disruptive to this site, I will reconsider the status.
You know, I could get angry about this and say things I might regret later... but I am very comfortable saying that I think I handle a majority of the sensitive situations here appropriately.
