Dick,
I'm running out of superlatives to use to describe the showdowns between these two great drivers. Bryan Clauson and Brad Kuhn. They both just step it up to another level, any time the other shows up, over their shoulder, poised to challenge them for the top spot. As evidenced by the races two main battles for the lead, last night. The first one was the slide-job swap-o-rama between Kuhn and Darren Hagen. It was fun to watch while it lasted, but you just knew that this wasn't the main entree of the night's dining. It was just the appetizer. Especially, since while all of this was unfolding, the patient one was laying low and watching, from the best seat in the house. And after a lapped car took Hagen out, the stage was set. Then, before the restart, as you saw the #17B with the #39 pacing slowly behind him, you just knew "OK, now it's on!!" And was it ever. Another serious high stakes, high speed, top shelf rumble, between the two best midget drivers on the planet, at this given moment. I felt so fortunate to be there and so bad for those that didn't get a chance to be. I'm so ready for Indiana Midget Week right now, I could hardly describe it! And even if I could, you probably couldn't understand me, because my voice is still shot from last night.
Jerry
