mr. moore........ yes the pit gate monies were controlled by the fleetwoods.... the aggreement was....... mr g was to lease the track for 4800.00... the fleetwoods would pay for workers ,ambulance , wreckers, etc.... mr g. would get the gate monies but would pay the purse for all classes...... the purse for the classes not related to mr. g came to 10,600.00... a deposite of 1000.00 ,paid later than agreed, was made thus a balance of 3800.00 due.... at racenight... the fleetwoods collected the money at the gates and told mr.g that his people we welcome to sit with them or take down numbers of wrist bands... the backgate collected 10,100.00...the grandstands had 131 people... mr.g stood to loose about 15,000.00 ... he told the fleetwoods he only had 9,000.00 to lose....... mr. g called the fence getting tore down a blessing..... now the local classes were scheduled to run a double feature the next week thus the purse had to be covered and the drivers paid... happens all the time.... the fleetwoods kept the back gate monies of 10,100.00 to cover that purse per their aggreement.,still short 500.00...the front gate pit passes are going to be honored at the next race,i believe...... fleetwoods still not collected their 3800.00 ..... now if mr. g would have collected that money would he have been there at the next race to pay the purses promised to the local classes? that is what i have been told and my take of the situation........ i am no way affiliated with the fleetwoods, twin cities, or any other race track other than helping to sponsor when i can...... don short
