We ran 2 races last year at a little bullring and that was it.

The cars don't cost a bunch, but it is all wing racing. I have heard before about saftey being a worry with non-wing mini-sprints on a bigger track, but last night proved it can be done safe. When I run TC with a wing, I am tring togo flat foot all the way around the place, but non-wing your off the gas and have to drive the car. Not just pushing the button and holding on.

I want this to work, I want to run more NON-WING!!!

Honestly to me CCR, It actually showed me your talent, You kept moving forward, Got third I think but were gaining on the leader. Lindsay did the same. The big reason the winged doesn't do it for me is its all keep it wound, The slightest bobble or lift will cost you seconds, not tenths. Feeling the car and how its reacting to the track you kept going forward! Also the cars are not stuck like glue to the surface. Certainly it takes talent to win with the wing but it also takes THE BIGGEST BUILT MOTOR you can buy and that motor won't last half as long with that lid.
I didn't jump in to hijack the thread, just respond to you, You seemed to be enjoying it and I enjoyed seeing you run as with the other 17 midget class participants.
Back on topic. I've only seen one demanding their start money, I have yet to see a promotor anywhere pay any feature money without a lap being run. Theres some who'll give you a rain check or your pit pass back. IMHO if the fence stayed up, All would have been happy. At least from a fans perspective, I would have been.
