You are right about the seats at Anderson. A friend of mine had a seat for the Little 500 that was broken and only allowed him 1/2 a seat. I told him that they expected the race to be so exciting he only needed the edge of it anyway.

He didnt' think it was nearly as funny as I did.
The first time I went to Sun Valley Speedway (now Anderson Speedway) back in the early 70's it was a very windy night. A storm soon presented itself and I went into the men's restroom and thought that I would take cover there. Little did I know that everyone else was laughing there *** off.

I still wish they wouldn't have changed the name from Sun Valley Speedway.
