Last week was a tough week for the little guy. They did the chemo in the Ommya Reservoir for the first time on Tuesday and followed up with the long version of chemo (72 Hours) in the center line. He was okay on Wednesday but Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday he was pretty sick and wasn't his "normal" self. We realize that there will be difficult times but it is sad to see him so sick and know that their isn't much we can do to make him feel better.
There are coming to Indiana this evening to get the testing done and everything in order this week at the Midwest Proton Radiotherapy Institute in Bloomington. This will take 2 or 3 days and he will then return to Michigan for more chemo. They will return to Indiana the middle of November for 6-8 weeks of the radiotherapy treatment in addition to the chemo.
