I thought that they did a good job of promoting the event in the KC area. They bought radio ads. They had posters at the local O'Reillys. They had a live remote from the track Friday afternoon on the local sports radio station. It was a topic on the Friday race preview segment on the sports radio show for the last two weekends. It was also a topic on the two hour racing show on the last two Saturday morning on sports radio. They also were on all of the internet sites as well.

The crowd Friday night was rough, but the crowd saturday night was a lot better. However, when you have a venue that seats 17,000, it is easy to have a big crowd look sparse.
