What kind of shape is the track in today? Could an Indy car or stock car race be held there or is the facility in need of a lot of work? Just curious.
David.
I can't speak directly since I wasn't driving on it, but the turns have been repaved lately. I took some distant shots of the banking and you can see those on my site. The seats and all are pretty shot, but the track looks to be in good shape. If you were at the 1993 ARCA Winston West race in the spring of 93, I was there, too. Last "official" race on the oval.
