This story has been around for ages. Reminds me of the hunters that has rented a cabin out for years. And every hunting season they would call out the CO's name. And finally the CO asked them after 20 years how they knew he was out there.

They said for the last 20 years they would call out his name in the morning and invite him for breakfast.
