I think track promoters are kind of like farmers. They all say they are broke, but have a wad of money in their overalls and their land is not up for sale.
If race track pomoting was a big money losing project, why would there be so many race tracks?
I do think that some of the greedy promoters have hurt their self by their own self greed and are not as profitable as they could be.
I don't know Don. I would say if you took all of the hours Dave has put into this operation and made it out to an hourly wage it may not be so impressive as you say. Especially if you look over the last couple weeks with the long hours for Funfest and the DTWC. Maybe the bikers are padding his pockets to keep negative people like you away from the track.JK but in all seriousness I don't see how it could be as glorifying and fruitful as some may think. I am sure Dave is making money but he is not getting rich. If it were easy everyone would be doing it.
