I have started receiving PM's and e-mails again so that means I haven't been doing a very good job of keeping everyone in the loop. I apologize for not keeping everyone up to date. Andrew had a great summer with lots of play time and not nearly as many doctors appointments. He has really blossomed since about June and he has taken on a new personality. He is so much more outgoing than before and a lot of that has to do with not being around doctors, nurses and family only.
This fall he has started back at the same preschool with the same teacher that he had last spring. The teachers at school were amazed at how much he has grown over the summer. His overall development has also improved with his speech and articulation in particular.
My son has started taking him to a gym class for jumping and tumbling. It has helped his physical development with his balance being the most noticeable. When he first started my son had to help him almost exclusively but he is now to the point of doing most of the excercises on his own. His progress has been truly amazing. He also did a beginner's swimming class over the summer and progressed very well.
We are kind of in a very boring part of our lives right now.

He is doing remarkably well and we pray that he continues to improve. With no known cure for this dreaded disease, we still have our eyes wide open knowing that he really is never out of danger. I still can't believe that two years ago at this time we were scrambling with all types of health issues with him and looking at a very bleak picture.
I continue to thank you all for your thoughts, prayers and concerns for the little guy. So many others with this deadly disease haven't been as blessed as our family has. If you believe in miracles, this certainly has to be one. We continue to Dream, Hope & Believe. I thank you all for following along on Andrew's journey. Hope to see you at the races.
