Thank you for all the calls and emails. The most common question has been, "How old do you have to be to drive a...?"
You have to be at least 8 years old to race a bandolero. There is no maximum age; however, most drivers have moved on to a Legend car by the time they are 16 or 17.
The minimum age for a Legend driver is somewhat dependent on previous racing experience.
12 years old with a minimum of 18 months in a bandolero
13 years old with previous racing experience in karts, quarter midgets, etc.
14 years old with no previous racing experience.
