If you go to a mandatory chassis, that eliminates the locals because they are not going to buy a special chassis to run with USAC only. Limits where you can go race.

You can pick up a great pavement roller for $10,000 give or take a few thou. A Beast capable of winning. Within 6 races you will spend more on tires than the car cost. Without testing.

Again; with all due respect; we can talk about the past and all of that and there are lessons to be learned from the past; but we have to address the probloms we have today.

We already have a huge amount of pavement cars sitting and not racing. The cars are already there. The problem is getting those cars out of the garage. I don't believe the soloution is to eliminate their viability.
