Starting on the tail or near the back of heat races is something Kyle Cummins has grown accustomed to. We laugh about his luck with the pill draw. But what has starting those races gotten him? Three consecutive MSCS championships!!!
After his blown motor during hotlaps, Kyle tried to find another car to drive for the night. He was guaranteed a starting spot in the feature no matter what, due to a provisional. How nice would it have been to see Kyle in the 20x of TSR, or the Clauson car. I think THAT would have been a good business decision!

Congrats to the ENTIRE Cummins Racing 3C team on a great USAC run on Friday, and that 3rd MSCS championship. Kyle, his dad Mark, Jay and Jason, should all be very proud!
