Lawrenceburg Speedway did use the "Chili Bowl" passing points format for their Monster Modifieds show.

When any sanctioning body comes to a racetrack they use their own racing format. I don't believe any track, other than maybe Eldora, could get an organization to alter their format just because they want something different.

I'm in favor of a "Chili Bowl" passing point format for all big shows if you don't qualify. IMHO at a regular show, when you don't have the time to run two sets of heat races, there is very little difference in a blind draw and passing points.
