I'm still not connecting why I would pay $5 more for a pit pass on Friday for a promotion that's advertised as a midget national event and ironically the sprint car purse is more than for the midgets and the midget purse doesn't even come close to a standard POWRi purse (see POWRi web site). Correct me if I'm wrong but I'm calculating a potential back gate fee ( according to the entry blank) for this event of $415 BEFORE I even unload my midget. I also noticed that FOUR starting spots (see entry blank) have been eliminated for the Saturday midget feature which calculates to $4000 less (based on last year's starting spots) being paid to the midget owners/drivers. If history repeats itself, 20 spots will go to USAC regulars and 4 spots to non USAC competitors. If the USAC provisional rules are used, then that's even more bad news for non USAC cars. Just reporting here what the promoters have published.
