Just a thought, but would it take that long to have the push trucks run the cush down just a little bit after after each set of hot laps and heats. Might make for less damage to some expensive equipment. However it was a great show. Still wishing Jon S. could have a little better luck. Have a Great Labor Day everyone. Bob Bressert
I thought the track was prepped perfect but I gotta agree, I seen some cars try to knock the cushion down but couldn't do it themselves. It would have torn the front end out. Unfortunately, More than a few got tore up by the cushion and sent into the wall in some cases.

Had a great time, Hate seeing so much equip torn up. Expecially when half of it could be avoided by just knocking the lip down. One SPrinter hit the lip with his right front, The tire burst off and sent the back of the car into the wall.

I was hyped for Scotty Weir for the USAC show, Last night showed it was no joke. He's tough at the burg with that ride He don't like the name but stomp and steer totally fits. From his initial start where he had to dart across the bottom of two to his restarts off the cushion.

Good job Scotty!

Congrats to Rick Corbin. Hope motor isn't too bad.
