Thanks for the trip down memory lane. There are some names on there that instantly ring a bell for me and that is saying something for a person who is only 31 years old but I remember McElreath, Leland, and the likes. These guys raced and stayed for years helping to build the series into the best. Now drivers spend a few years and then leave for the crap down south. It's sad they leave but money talks. That is what needs to be addressed. There needs to be a way to get and retain drivers in this series if it is to survive, not exist but survive.

48 cars? It's sad to see what we have now for fields. 2 heat races? Hell we couldn't even get a conzi if we had too. Drivers came from everywhere and they were the best of the best. It is so sad.
