Dyno Don, Here ya go, straight from the Indiana ATC:
Temporary Beer / Wine Permit Type 118 A temporary permit is good for beer and wine only - not liquor. If you want to have liquor served at your event, you must have a licensed alcoholic beverage caterer. A temporary permit is valid for on premises consumption only. "Carry out" and "carry on" is not permitted.

Thanks for your concearns. I don't know what kind of liceanse anyone else has, and really don't care. As far as security we have 5 to 6 officers at each event.
Thanks, Dave

It is funny how some promoters hide behind that if you sell beer, you can not allow beer carried in. So how do you explain IMS, ORP, THAT, Haubstadt and Salem to name a few.

I always get to your track early so I can park close to the front gate. That way I can get a pass out and have a beer or a snack during down time or when something is running that I do not care to watch.

The problem with this is the local fuzz think I am selling drugs or up to something illegal, because I make several trips to my car. I have been searched once and questioned twice because I go to my auto to often in their mind.

On a side note. Why is there so much police presence at The "Burg? With the exception of THAT it is hard to see a law enforcement officer at any other track. Is it because both are at a public fairground?
