We not only miss that little joint (even the so-called 1/2 mile was little), but we miss stopping to eat after the races. We always exited the Park heading south to IL-83 to get back to I-55. Just before the Interstate interchange, there was a restaurant named Falco's. It was not uncommon for our "bunch" to take up the entire back room, when at least the Cliff Cornell (Can-Du #8) family, their crew and driver, and family and friends would all pile into Falco's for pizza and a lot of BS-ing.
Ahhh, yes, the good ol' days....
