Good racing tonight. Any racing would have been good considering all factors. We (Danny, Mike & Kelly, Ed K. Gregg & I) were hoping for 15 cars considering all the racing scheduled elsewhere tonight. We got 18 cars. Got our money's worth watching Coleman Gulick, Joss Moffatt, and a couple of others in hot laps. 3 very competitive heats with the last lap Boespflug, Moffatt lead swapping the highlight in heat 3.

Track stayed moist all night....maybe a bit too tacky up high which may have contributed to a couple of flippers. J.J. Hughes got some big air in his early feature spectacular. Hendrick looked strong all night and led early but when Coleman got around with about 15 to go he was pressured but not really threatened. Nice crowd. Checkers flew at 9:15 as they were well aware of potential for rain. Sprinkled, then very light rain but the race cars kept the track in shape running until the rain stopped. Then they went Nice run by Westerfeld who started up front, but got squeezed on the start, restarted on the tail, aned came back to finish about 8th.

Great to see Chad Boespflug back. Also Jim Gardner and Duane Spille for what I believe was their first 'Burg action of '09.

Later Y'all!!!
