Absolutely. If you added a little more parking space, this place could be one of the best facilities in the whole state. The grandstands and PA system are top rate. And the racing surface is wide and super fast. And, through the thick clouds of dust, I have seen some pretty good racing, there.
Several years ago, before I'd ever been to a race there, I stopped in during the week, on my way back from Chicago and I talked to Mr. Kamp for a few minutes. He was real nice guy. Told me the bright red racing surface was Kentucky clay he had brought in.
