Well, considering there website said:
Pit Gate Opens at 3:00, $30
Front Gate Opens at 3:30, $20, kids 10 and under free with paying adult.
Then they decided to open the Front Gate at 3pm, I can only guess they will be consistent and start a half hour earlier. Or just go back to normal. Your guess is as good as mine.
I suppose they had to let everyone in early in order to not have a fire code violation with not enough available exits for the crowd.
