This is just my opinion but I believe that if the people that left the UMRA to run with MTQRL will be honest, it was really for alot of personal reasons. I apologize if I am wrong, some of the guys are trying to run both and I believe the UMRA has been very welcoming.
Well, Mr. Anderson, If you checked YOUR facts, YOU would know "how things run around here". By the way, I'm not in the "other" club. I have been with, and continue to be with, the UMRA for more years than I can remember. My point, as it appears to be lost, is that the UMRA needs cars from the other club to survive. There is no way that either club will be booked at a "real" tracks (non-fairground) next year because promoters are only seeing 12-22 cars show up with both clubs. Long term, it is a lose-lose situation for both clubs. I'm trying to look at this from the outside and not let personal issues sway my opinions. It seems that lots of people cant seem to do that. I want to see the UMRA thrive again. Not many years ago there were 60+ cars at Rushville. Cars from California and New Zealand! Its depressing to pull in at Rushville and see 19 cars in the pits. I remember what it used to be like, and I for one, miss it....
