Although it wasn't what I was expecting up until I found out the day before how many cars showed up, I have to agree that it was interesting. I was looking forward to the next 400 but will come for the 200. The difference in pit stops is that at the Little 500 you pit whenever you want to, within certain restrictions. At the 400, they stopped the race at, if memory serves me correctly, laps 200 and 300 for pit stops. This gives the 500 more room for strategy (and luck, either good or bad) than the 400 had.
All in all, it was an enjoyable night. And Anderson certainly knows how to make it an occasion, an event, with the mandatory drivers autograph session and the other festivities. Well worth while.
